On behalf of the Oaklawn Elementary School staff and students, I would like to welcome you to Oaklawn’s website. Oaklawn  is one of three elementary schools in the Twin Lakes School Corporation, which serves children in parts of White and Carroll counties.  The school district of Oaklawn  encompasses an area in the city of Monticello, a rural area in Union Township in White County, and a rural area in Jefferson Township in Carroll County.

Oaklawn  Elementary provides classes from full-day Kindergarten through fourth grade, in addition to English as a New Language program, and special education classes.  We also have an active PTO that works to support our students and staff.

Oaklawn Elementary’s  mission is to “promote educational excellence through a safe, nurturing environment that emphasizes personal responsibility for learning, provides developmentally appropriate curriculum, inspires life-long learning, and acknowledges the importance of relationships within the school community.”
